Our Drayton Valley Thunder has one more away game in Spruce Grove on Friday, Jan.18 with the puck dropping at 7:00 before they finally have another one in our barn.
Our next home game is scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 20 were Thunder will be taking on the Olds Grizzlys at 2:30.
Jr Thunder Fan Club members should have this one marked on your calender as it is a special day for you with lots of Panago Pizza to eat and other exciting things happening. One lucky member is chosen to be a Jr. Thunder Hockey Player to go into the dressing room between the warmup and the game and then will be going out on the ice with the Thunder players at the beginning of the game.
After the game, all Thunder fans young and old are invited to join the Jr. Thunder Hockey members and our very own Drayton Valley Thunder players by bringing your skates and helmet for a Skate With The Thunder. Remember to bring your favorite jersey, Thunder inserts or anything you want and have the Thunder players autograph it for you. Bring your camera and have a photo taken with your favorite player too. After the Skate With The Thunder, there will be a Pizza Party for Jr. Thunder Hockey Club members ONLY.
