The Drayton Valley Thunder are pleased to announce the signing of 2005 born forward Xander Schulte. The 6’2 power forward played last season for the St. Albert Raiders U18AAA program. Xander also suited up in 5 AJHL games last season split between Bonnyville and Whitecourt registering 1 goal and 31 penalty minutes.
Drayton Valley Thunder Head Coach Geoff Walker had the following comments on the newest addition to the team. “Xander is a big power forward who can skate and play. He is a physical guy with scoring ability. As a coach, Xander is kind of a dream guy to have in the fold, he can play any and every style of game that will be asked of our team this season. Xander will be reporting to Drayton Valley for camp and then will be attending the Kelowna Rockets Training camp of the WHL.”
We are extremely excited Xander chose the Thunder and looking forward to seeing him on the ice at Main Camp which starts August 19th in Drayton Valley.
