The Drayton Valley Thunder are excited to announce that ’03 Forward Sammy May has committed to Trinity Western University for the upcoming 2024/2025 season.
The 20 year old Richmond, BC native came to the Thunder for the start of the 2021 -22 season playing a total of 22 games. Not long after Sammy moved on to play for the Langley Riverman (BCHL) and then the Vancouver Giants of the WHL. May, returned this season with the Thunder and since has played a total of 43 AJHL games tallying 26 points (3G, 23A).
Congratulations to Sammy and we wish him all the best this upcoming fall when he suits up with his new team the Trinity Western Spartans.
