Drayton Valley Thunder defenceman Grant Fuchsen is the AJHL Defensive Player of the Week with four points (2G, 2A) in two wins.
Grant Fuchsen (2003) had two assists, including an assist on the game winning goal, in a 4-1 win versus the visiting Lloydminster Bobcats on January 26th and was awarded as the Viterra AJHL Star of the Game. On January 27th, he scored two goals in a 5-1 win versus the Olds Grizzlys.
