The Drayton Valley Thunder are looking for community-minded people to provide homes for their players during the upcoming 2013-14 season. Players typically begin to arrive in mid-August and will stay with the housing family until the end of the season, which can run until May. Each housing family receives monthly remuneration as well as a pair of season tickets for each player billeted. Billet families will also be rewarded with many great memories from extending their families to include a dedicated young man who is endeavoring to further his education while playing junior hockey. So if you have a bedroom sitting empty, call today to discuss this opportunity to support your local AJHL hockey team in Drayton Valley.
