The Drayton Valley Thunder are very pleased to announced that forward Doug Jones has committed to the Red Deer College Kings Hockey of the ACAC for next season.
Jones, who spent five years in the AJHL, was acquired by the Thunder at this year’s trade deadline from the Fort McMurray Oil Barons. The Calgary native tallied 45 goals and 45 assists in 176 AJHL games with the Drumheller Dragons, Fort McMurray Oil Barons and Drayton Valley Thunder.
The Thunder would like to thank Jones and congratulate him on his scholastic and hockey endeavours.
