The Drayton Valley Thunder announced its 2017/18 leadership team on Thursday afternoon, ahead of Friday's season opener in Sherwood Park.
Second year Thunder veteran #26 Sam Anzai, will wear the captain's 'C' this season, while veterans #2 Brayden Richards and #24 Dryden Wust will be wearing “A”s. Second year Thunder veteran #18 Levi Johnson will be an Away Assistant Captain while #17 Josh Borynec will be a Home Assistant Captain. Congrats to all!
Reminder! Regular season will commence in Sherwood Park at 7:00, September 15th for those who would like to travel to cheer on our team. Our Drayton Valley Thunder Home Opener will begin with a tail gate party beginning at 5:00 pm followed by 7:30 puck drop on September 15th. Come on out, bring your friends and cheer loud and proud!!
