On Saturday morning, starting at 10:30 you will see your Drayton Valley Thunder Players at either Sobey's or Extra Foods as they assist our local Drayton Valley Food Bank collect food donated from shoppers during the day. Later, Thunder will be in action on the ice as they take on the Drumheller Dragons with the puck dropping at 7:30.
Then, on Sunday October 7th, following a game against the Okotoks Oilers, Thunder will be hosting their first Skate with the Thunder of the season. Everyone is welcome, young and old but all children must wear a helmet. Come on out and get your favorite item autographed while skating with your favorite players. There will also be a chance for those under 12 who have registered to be a member of the Junior Thunder Fan Club to win prizes.
