Hockey Sticks Put Away For Shovels and Picks

Coach Fran Gow and his team put their hockey sticks away Saturday morning between a double header against Fort McMurray. They pulled shovels out to give a helping hand to a local group on TD Tree Days to plant a stretch of trees along Highway 22 north of Walmart. Thunder, then went on Saturday night to take down the Oil Barons in a 4-1 victory. Their next  home game is Tuesday against the Sherwood Park Crusaders. Come on down to support your Drayton Valley Thunder at the Omniplex and enjoy some fast paced hockey. Puck drops at 7:30.
