The Drayton Valley Thunder have acquired 2004-born forward and NCAA Yale commit, Kurt Gurkan, from the Blackfalds Bulldogs of the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) in exchange for Futures considerations.
Gurkan, last season playing 32 regular season games for the Blackfalds Bulldogs registering 17 points with 9G and 8A, while recording 7 points (4G,3A) in 16 games during the playoffs.
The Thunder would like to welcome Kurt and his family to the organization.
