Drayton Valley Alta. – Drayton Valley Thunder, welcomes the dynamic defensive duo of Nolan Spadafore (Cochrane) and Zachery Bokenfohr (Calgary) who signed with the Thunder June 1, 2017. Spadafore and Bokenfohr are both 6?1? and born in 1999. They played their last three seasons with Edge School and were major contributors to the Edge Midget Prep team being ranked Number 1 Midget AAA team in Canada during the season. They led their team to win the Canadian Sports School Hockey league 2016-17 championship.
?These players are the complete package and are exciting to watch. They can defend the net, win the battles in the corners, move the puck and jump up on the offence. They are a big addition to our team, they bring a winning attitude that will help us create a winning culture in the room and within the community.? Said Coach Kyle Adams.
