The Drayton Valley Thunder are pleased to announce that ’03 forward Sammy May will be returning to the Thunder’s lineup for this season.
Sammy first played for the Thunder back in 2021/22 season where he played 22 games before leaving for the Langley Riverman of the BCHL and shortly after the Vancouver Giants of the WHL. In the 2022/23 season May played a total of 63 games with the Vancouver Giants tallying 9 points (1G, 8A).
“We are really excited to add a player of Sammy’s quality back to Drayton Valley. His experience both on and off the ice is something we have been looking for to compliment the top end of our forward group,” says Head Coach and GM Geoff Walker.
The Thunder look forward to having Sammy back in the lineup and would like to welcome Sammy and his family back to Drayton Valley.
