DRAYTON VALLEY THUNDER NAME MARK MOGUS AS EQUIPMENT MANAGER
DRAYTON VALLEY, AB – August 5, 2025 – The Drayton Valley Thunder of the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) are excited to announce Mark Mogus as the team’s Equipment Manager, effective immediately. The equipment manager role is new to the Thunder organization. Mogus brings a strong work ethic and a passion for hockey to the Thunder organization.
Mogus recently completed his Business Diploma in Sport Management from Saskatchewan Polytechnic. He gained valuable practical experience through volunteer roles with the Saskatchewan Roughriders equipment staff, as an Assistant Equipment Manager for Prairie Hockey Academy, and in game day operations for the Saskatchewan Rush. He also served as a referee for the Moose Jaw Inline Hockey League.
As Equipment Manager, Mogus will be responsible for the comprehensive care and management of all team equipment, ensuring it’s in optimal condition for practices and games.

While he may be newer to the professional equipment manager role, we’re confident that his dedication, combined with our experienced staff, will quickly develop him into a valuable and integral member of our team.”

The Drayton Valley Thunder Training Camp begins August 23rd, with the season starting September 19th at home against the Olds Grizzlys.
