The Drayton Valley Thunder would like to send condolences to the Boscher Family in the passing of one of our Drayton Valley Thunder's Founding Fathers:
ROBERT “Bob” AUGUST BOSCHER
April 11, 1936 – October 29, 2014
On Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at his residence Bob Boscher beloved husband of the late Myrna Boscher of Drayton Valley passed away at the age of 78 years.
He leaves to cherish his memory sons Kenneth of Georgia, USA, Vernon (Richelle) of Drayton Valley, Vincent of Grande Prairie and daughter Karen Myck (Glen) of Spruce Grove as well as 9 grandchildren, Taylor (TP), Riley, Devyn, Jaiden, Lexi, Kasia, Joshua, Katrina and Kain. Also surviving are 2 brothers Paul (Louise), Ed (Thelma), 2 sisters Marie Venderbush and Hilde Martin (Keith) as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends and his best friend Cassie.
Bob was predeceased by his wife Myrna and his brother Daniel.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the MacKenzie Centre with Pastor Doug Hale officiating. Services will conclude at the MacKenzie Centre with cremation to follow.
