Drayton Valley Thunder wrapped up their two-game south road trip on a positive note. Their first game was a 4-0 loss versus Drumheller Dragons on Saturday but Sunday's game made up for the loss. Jamie Waddington, Brayden Harris and Hayden Dawes each had three points as the Thunder doubled up the Mustangs 8-4. Congrats to #11 Brett Smythe for Away Star in Drumheller and #9 Jamie Waddington for Away Star in Calgary.
On Wednesday, Thunder will travel to Whitecourt for an 8:00 pm game. NOTE the time change from their usual 7:30 game time. Following the Whitecourt game, on Friday, Thunder will be off to Lloydminster for a single match up. Then on the weekend, we can all come out (family and friends) on Sunday for an afternoon game at home at 2:30. Remember to bring helmets and skates to join Thunder for a Skate With The Thunder 5:00-6:15pm following the Sunday game. You can also bring a sharpie/pen and items to be autographed if you wish and Thunder players will gladly sign them for you. See you there!!
