ISO: Billet Families who want free tickets to all Thunder Home Games.
Our Drayton Valley Thunder players are arriving back in Drayton on August 31 and we are still needing homes for a few of them. If you have an extra bedroom not being used and love hockey, here is an perfect opportunity for a great new experience. As a billet family, you will not only get to know a great young guy, you will also get free tickets to go watch his home games. Whether you are new or a long time resident of Drayton Valley, billeting is a great way to meet people. As a new billet family you will become as involved with the hockey organization as you want to be. Many billet families attend all the home games and subsequently, end up being introduced to other billet families building their circle of friends.
Each billet family is paid a monthly stipend to house a player in their home. You would be responsible to provide each boy with at least one good meal and have the food available so they could cook the other meals themselves. Chores around the house are usually discussed between each player and billet family. As well, each family is given exhibition and season tickets as well as playoff tickets.
