Congratulations to Thunder alumni Colson Gengenbach on signing an Amateur Tryout Agreement (ATO) with the Manitoba Moose in the AHL! 🎉🏒
Colson spent two seasons with the Thunder (2019-2021), playing 43 games and recording 36 points (15G, 21A). He then advanced to U SPORTS hockey with the University of Calgary Dinos, where he totaled 98 points (48G, 50A) in 114 games over four seasons.
His standout 2023-24 season earned him Canada West First All-Star Team and U SPORTS All-Canadian Second Team honors while helping the Dinos capture the 2023 Canada West Championship.
Colson also shined on the international stage, leading Team Canada at the 2025 FISU Universiade with 8 goals and 3 assists in 7 games, securing a gold medal.
We are proud to see Colson take the next step in his hockey career and wish him the best as he begins his journey in professional hockey with the Manitoba Moose!
