The Drayton Valley Thunder have completed a trade with the Whitecourt Wolverines.
The Thunder have acquired ’04 6’3″ 210lb defenceman Evan Smutney in exchange for ’04 forward Travis Verbeek.
“Evan is a defenceman that can play on both sides of the puck and is very excited to be joining the Thunder this coming August, says Head Coach and GM Corey Bricknell.
The Drayton Valley Thunder would like to thank Travis for all his hard work on and off the ice and wish him and his family all the best in Whitecourt.
