Thunders Head Coach and GM Eric Thurston signs 3 year contract extension.

The Drayton Valley Thunder are pleased and proud to announce the extension of Eric Thurston’s contract as our Head Coach & GM. This will secure his services through to the end of the 2024-25 season.   We consider Eric to be the top coach in our league.   After inheriting a last place team in 2018, Eric’s leadership has led directly to the rise of The Thunder as a perennial contender in the North Division.   We know that our entire staff, players, & fans will be excited to learn that Eric has agreed to remain part of The Thunder and to continue his quest to bring a league championship back to Drayton Valley.
