The Drayton Valley Thunder is saddened to hear of the passing of one of our Thunder family members, Allen Meadows. Allen was one of our valuable volunteers who gave of his time to help at our home games. Allen could always be found at the arena wearing a bright yellow security jacket and a huge smile on his face. Al was very outgoing and friendly. He was a true character with lots of stories to tell. Allen was a pleasure to work with; happy to lend a helping hand wherever needed.
Allen will be missed by all of us. Our condolences go out to Allen’s family during this difficult time.
The family of Allen Meadows will be remembering and celebrating his life on Saturday, August 25 at 1 pm. We have been informed to a change in location to accommodate everyone for the celebration. It will now be held at the Drayton Valley Omni-Plex (5737 45 Ave) in the Curling Lounge.
Family and friends are welcome to attend.
