Thunder Hire Ryan Rechner as Head Coach

Drayton Valley, AB – The Drayton Valley Thunder Hockey Club is pleased to announce the hiring of Ryan Rechner as their new Head Coach.  Ryan has 11 years coaching experience, won Coach of the Year honours in two consecutive seasons of Bantam AAA and Midget AAA with Leduc, and was most recently the Associate Coach for the Spruce Grove Saints.

“Ryan is a 21st century coach. He possesses an unprecedented understanding of the game, and will bring professionalism and structure both on and off the ice,' said Thunder General Manager Joey Bouchard.  “Ryan is committed to developing our young athletes to perform at their very best.  He is a coach of character, and brings a commendable work ethic, key ingredients to building a winning tradition here in Drayton Valley.”
