The Drayton Valley Thunder are proud to announce the hiring of Shaun Collard as our new Sales and Marketing Manager. Shaun comes into this role with the Thunder after working for the Spruce Grove Saints as the Director of Sales and Marketing for 3 seasons from 2013-2016, as well as 10 years in the Sales and Marketing Industry. Hockey and community minded, Shaun also served on the Board of Directors for the Spruce Grove Regals Jr. B Hockey Club for 10 years from 2003 -2013. Shaun and his wife Sarah currently reside in Spruce Grove, but Shaun will live in Drayton Valley during his time with the Thunder.
“I am very proud to be joining the Drayton Valley Thunder organization. This is a very special time in Thunder history, as it is our 20th anniversary season. My immediate goals are to contribute to the continued success of the Thunder off the ice, and help expand the branding of the Thunder within Drayton Valley and the County of Brazeau,” says Collard. “Spending 3 seasons with the Saints, and living within a junior A hockey community, I understand how important the relationship is between the team and the town. I am excited to being a part of this organization and look forward to meeting with all the fans and supporters of Hockey Valley.”
