Thunder hire new Athletic Therapist & Equipment Manager

Drayton Valley Alberta – The Drayton Valley Thunder are proud to announce the hiring of our new Athletic Therapist & Equipment Manager – Kristalee Walchuk

A Mission BC native, Kristalee has spent the past 3 years as an Athletic Trainer and Equipment Manager, two of which were along side Head Coach, Kyle Adams when he was with the Chilliwack Chiefs of the BCHL.  Kristalee has a degree from The University of the Fraser Valley and has training as a Kinesio-therapist specializing in restorative health for young athletes.

“Kristalee brings an incredible ability to teach our players how to prepare for games and practices to ensure they remain healthy and perform at their peak.  She brings to her role the same characteristics we look for in our players.  Dedication, incredible work ethic, ability to overcome adversity and teamwork” said Head Coach Kyle Adams. “We are so pleased to have Kristalee as part of the Thunder family.”
