Please be advised that the Drayton Valley Spring Camp will be held
March 23- 25, 2018 in Drayton Valley as per your original invitation.
It has come to our attention that many of our spring camp registrants received an email from our former Interim Assistant Coach. The letter you received indicated that spring camp may be cancelled. However, this is not the case.
Moving Forward – We are excited about our 2018 Spring Camp. We are looking forward to some of the best young talent from across Western Canada being on showcase.
The Drayton Valley Thunder is committed to building a franchise with a winning tradition and culture. We are pleased with the skilled and dedicated young players we have been able to recruit this year and will continue our efforts to ensure we have a winning culture that is a source of pride for our fans and supporters. A culture that focuses on overcoming adversity, putting team before self-interests, advancing players to the next level of hockey. A culture that the best players come to play in Drayton Valley.
Thunder is happy to report that we have hired a very qualified Head Coach and General Manager- Eric Thurston.
Along with Coach Thurston, Derek Wiest and Ian Gordon will assume the duties of Assistant Coach, and Murray Summers and Todd Lorenz will continue as our scouts.
