The Drayton Valley Thunder announce that Sean Brown is appointed Interim Head Coach & General Manager, effective immediately. Sean has an extensive hockey background. He played professionally in the NHL, OHL, AHL, and also in Europe. He also helped coach the Edmonton Oil Kings to a Memorial Cup Championship. More recently, Sean has operated a very successful hockey development business known as Breakout Hockey. Sean has been an informal consultant with the Thunder and recently signed a contract to serve as Assistant Coach & GM next season. Sean will be assisted in the interim by Thunder Chief Scout and Assistant Coach Eric Schneider. The Thunder will be seeking to hire a full-time Head Coach and General Manager during the off-season.
