Rapuano Commits to Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT)

The Drayton Valley Thunder are proud to announce that former Forward and Assistant Captain Troy Rapuano has committed to the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) for the 2016-17 season.

Rapuano will be apprenticing as a Steamfitter-Pipefitter at NAIT, and will join the NAIT Ook's for the 2016-2017 season.

Rapuano played a huge role as a leader for the Thunder last season and he will no doubt play a leading role at the collegiate level as well. He is a skilled forward who is patient with the puck and sees the ice well.”

Rapuano came to the Thunder in the 2014-15 season after playing several games with the Lloydminster Bobcats (AJHL) and the Dauphin Kings (MJHL). He was an asset on the points with 15 goals and 22 assists in 58 games with the Thunder.

Thunder would like to congratulate him on his commitment and wish him all the best next season and beyond.
