The Drayton Valley Thunder Family is deeply saddened to hear of Parker Tobin’s passing in the horrific bus crash in Saskatchewan. Parker Tobin was a member of the Drayton Valley Thunder Junior A Hockey Family for the 2016-2017 season.
Parker was a fine young man who loved hockey and played with passion. He was a team player, a stand-up guy and an inspiration to his team mates. Parker was hardworking and dedicated. He was a great player and team member.
Parker was part of our Thunder family and our community. He will be sadly missed and forever in our hearts.
Our prayers go out to the Clarke and Tobin family. We are grief stricken for your loss.
Our thoughts and prayers are also with the Smith Family during this difficult time. Tyler Smith was a player on our team for the 2016-2017 season. We are praying for his recovery from this horrific accident.
Drayton Valley Thunder Family would like to express our most profound condolences to the Humboldt Broncos Family. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Bronco’s organization, the players, their parents, the billet parents, the community and everyone associated with the team. Our thoughts and prayers are also with the first responders, hospital staff, and the entire hockey community. A tragedy such as this impacts us all.
