The Drayton Valley Thunder are excited to announce 6’1″ 194 lbs forward Dawson Madden has signed a Letter of Intent for the upcoming 2023/24 season.
The Evansburg native currently plays for the OHA Edmonton U18 Prep team (CSSHL) playing 26 games tallying a total of 23 points (9G, 14A).
“Madden is a power forward that plays a 200′ game. Having played 4 games as an Affiliate this season, he has already recorded 3 assists. Dawson plays physical, hard on the puck and not afraid to block shots with a high skill set to go along with his big presence on the ice”, says Head Coach and GM Corey Bricknell.
The Thunder would like to welcome Dawson and his family to the Thunder Organization.
