Tonight, the Thunder are in Spruce Grove to take on the Saints. Thunder defensemen #4 Jesse Pomeroy and #8 Kabe Bleay are poised to hit milestones in career AJHL games played.
Pomeroy, recently committed to Niagara University (NCAA div I), is set to suit up for his 100th career AJHL game. The Thunder rearguard spent time with the Sherwood Park Crusaders and Whitecourt Wolverines before coming to Drayton Valley, where he has been a staple to the Thunder’s success.
Bleay is pegged to play in his 150th career AJHL game. This solid defender began his AJHL career with the Olds Grizzlys before settling in this season with the Drayton Valley Thunder.
