It is National Coaches Week. Did you thank your coach yet this week? If you haven't, you have all week to thank the person/people who have given you countless hours to help make you a better athlete and a better person which in the end will assist you achieving a higher quality of life. I too, would like to thank, not only the coaches of Drayton Valley Minor Hockey for the gazillion hours you have given my grandchildren since their first steps on to the ice, I would also like to thank the Drayton Valley Thunder Coaches past and present who have given us fantastic hockey here in Drayton Valley since 1998. Presently, I would like to thank Coach Mike Mueller, Associate Coach Ryan Allen and Assistant Coach Jack Redlick of the Drayton Valley Thunder for the hockey that I have enjoyed for so many years.
