Thunder Announces Player Development and Scouting Staff
The Drayton Valley Thunder Hockey Club is pleased to announce the expansion of their hockey operations team. Thunder have added Jason Nicholetts as the team’s Director of Player personnel, and Travis Gibson as Head Scout.
Jason Nicholetts brings 20+ years of coaching, management and development experience to the team. He has had many career highlights including an ACAC championship with the NAIT Ook’s in 2015/16, where he served as a member of the coaching staff.
Travis Gibson brings 10 years of coaching experience and 7 years of scouting experience in Bantam & Midget AAA and with the AJHL – Whitecourt Wolverines. Travis has an impressive record of recognizing young talent and developing players.

Furthermore, it proves our commitment to player development and to the overall integrity of our hockey club” said Joey Bouchard, Thunders General Manager.
