He was almost a point a game with the Canucks putting up 18 points in 20 games.  In  2015-16 Steele had a phenomenal year capturing the AMMHL scoring title with 87 points in 37 games.

“We are very excited to have acquired Jaxon’s playing rights” said new Head Coach & General Manager, Eric Thurston “he is a character player that works hard in both ends of the ice, has incredible talent, and he has the ability of putting up 60 or more points for us this year.  As an 18 year old, he has the potential to be a big part of our future and will help us develop a winning culture here in Drayton Valley.”
