There is no doubt that out of the invited registrants in the 2013 Drayton Valley Spring Camp, a couple of the athletes will be signed for this up-coming season. For those who came down to watch this past weekend, they will no doubt be in total agreement too that a couple will be signed with the skill level that was present on the ice. Parents who also attended made mention of how impressed they were with the management of this camp. One father from Fort McMurray said he went to three other camps last year and expressed that this one was by far the most impressive. Another parent out of Calgary went on to say that he was impressed to see the coaches right on the ice during each practice and how he learned more in watching one hour of practice here than several back home. Several of the players were also over heard to say that they definitely want to play for Coaches Fran Gow and Mike Mueller if they can. There were many hopefuls wanting to be invited back for the next camp. The cream of this year’s crop will be invited back to join the returning Thunder Players to a camp that will take place in Edmonton in July 2013.
