Thunder picked up it fourth win tonight as they took down the Whitecourt Wolverines in a 3-1 score. Whitecourt was the first to light up the lamp tonight and led the scoring until Thunder's player, #9 Jamie Waddington found the back of the net in the middle of the second period when #4 Luke Orysiuk set him up to tie the game. The Thunder, then capitalized on a pair of power plays in the third to push away from Whitecourt on the scoreboard. #21 Tanner Clarkson and #18 Michael Cardinal were responsible for this pair of goals. As the team was saluting the Drayton Valley fans at the end of the evening, Tanner Clarkson was announced as Drayton's Home Star. Way to go Tanner!! Thunder has two games happening this weekend. They will be taking on the Brooks Bandits on Friday and then in a Sunday Matinee Lloydminster Bobcats will be in with the puck dropping at 3:30.
