The Drayton Valley Thunder is now accepting applications for the position of Marketing Manager and Community Relations for the 2013/14 season commencing as soon as a suitable applicants is found following the April 1st deadline.
The position involves overseeing all marketing operations including, but not limited to, advertising, corporate sponsorship, season ticket sales, volunteer recruitment, game day operations, and community exposure. The Marketing Manager reports to the Marketing Committee and President of the Thunder organization.
Applicants should possess a marketing degree/diploma or a background in marketing and sales. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are fundamental. Each application should contain a complete resume and a list of at least two references.
